The Techniques for Muscle Testing

Muscle testing is an alternative healing diagnostic technique that allows you to ask your body yes or no questions. The method works with the idea that a “yes” answer or a positive association strengthens your muscles. The “no” answer or the negative association weakens your muscles.
Through muscle testing, you’re able to bypass the conscious thought to access active and intuitive systems.
In this post, we’ll focus on some muscle testing techniques. They include the following:
- The Single Finger Press or Lift
Rest your palm of one hand on your table or desktop. From here, press your thumb and other fingers down.
Focus on someone or something you love and try to lift your thumb or any finger. In most cases, it’ll stay put.
Using the same procedure, focus on someone you hate or dislike, try to lift your thumb or finger again. With this, you’ll be shocked at how easily it boosts.
Try and ensure you’re using the same pressure to undertake the lift, every time. Once you get an idea of how strong you are when you think of a “love” or “yes” situation, use it to clear further doubts. All you need to do is to imagine the person or the situation. Perform the muscle test. If you’re able to lift your thumb or finger easily, the person or circumstance is not good for you. If it stays put, then the person or situation is right for you.
- The Interlocking “O”
It’s a favorite technique of accessing any information in your energy field. But how does it work?
Press your thumb and forefinger of your non-dominant hand together. From here, make an interlocking ring using the thumb and forefinger of your other hand.
Imagine, feel and think of someone, activity or thing you love. Using firm pressure, not exceeding one though, try pulling the dominant hand from the interlock. Use the weakest point of the non-dominant hand interlock, where the thumb and forefinger meet.
Note how sharp the interlock is. Now, switch the feeling and image of an activity, person, or thing that you don’t like or that caused you harm. Now pull again. With this, it’ll be easier to force the interlock rings apart.
- The Snap
A snap is a simple muscle testing technique you can do on your own. It involves pressing your finger and a thumb of one hand as if you’re about to snap them.
At this juncture, use a firm pressure that’s not painful. Feel and imagine and feel your yes person, situation, or thing and feel the strength between your finger and thumb. Make your observations.
Now imagine about a situation or someone who is a turn-off. Vary the pressure and determine how much you need to exert to make a snap.
Remember, the snap is created when your finger gives way to the pressure of your thumb. Once you’re clear about your yes and no situation, you’re ready to self-test. If you’re curious about a specific food, hold it against your free thumb and see whether you can make a snap or not.
